About the A/E BC Marketing Intelligence Unit Mission: “to improve the Jordanian Architecture and Engineering Consulting services sector’s access to relevant, timely and reliable market intelligence significantly, to enable them to make informed business decisions, thereby improving their international competitiveness and contributing to the financial sustainability of the A/E Business Council”
Objectives: to significantly improve the Jordanian Architects & Engineering Consulting sector's access to relevant, timely, and reliable market intelligence, in which to enable the businesses to be globally competitive, export driven, financially sustainable, and to work within the scope of international best practices.
How it works: The Council has dedicated staff where their job to continuously develop, analyze, and report on the market trends and exporting/importing regulations. They write reports and conduct trainings on the new trends in the industry and provide expert knowledge of the different markets in the region. The MIU provides the following services:
- Collects and shares of information about the situation and potential of services export possibilities at regional and international level
- Strengthens the knowledge based and skills needed for operating in the services markets and raising the awareness of the different market possibilities
- Offers input for policy formulation at the state and local levels through information and enhanced knowledge
- Establishes strong regional and international networks with key partners in target markets to support the timely and efficient access to or exchange of market information and business networking.
